Controller and contact

Friso Tech & Media is responsible for this processing. Dutch Chamber of Commerce number: 90190386. VAT ID: NL004795431B83. For questions or privacy requests, email f.kluitenberg [at] ftam [dot] nl.

Enquiries and assignments

When you email us or contact us through LinkedIn, we process the information you provide, such as your name, email address, business details and message. We use it to respond, prepare a quotation and carry out agreements. For assignments, we also process information needed to deliver the work, invoice you and maintain our administration.

The legal bases are preparing or performing a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and our statutory record-keeping obligations. Without necessary contact or assignment details, we may be unable to handle your enquiry or assignment. Please do not send sensitive personal data that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

Website statistics and technical information

This website uses Umami through yin-yang.fri.so to understand website use and improve its content. The script sends information including the page visited, page title, referring website, browser language and screen size. URL query parameters and fragments are removed before transmission. Browsers also transmit technical information, such as an IP address and browser information, with network requests.

The analytics script does not set cookies. This website does not send names, email addresses or customer numbers to Umami and does not use session recordings or advertising trackers. The website respects the Do Not Track signal when your browser sends it. Limited visitor analysis and secure website operation are based on our legitimate interest. Read more in the cookie policy.

Service providers and external websites

Hosting, email and administration providers may process data to deliver their services. We limit access to what is needed and enter into processing agreements where required. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards must apply. We do not sell your personal data.

LinkedIn is an external website with its own privacy terms. This website does not load a LinkedIn widget; you only visit LinkedIn when you open its link.

Retention

We retain contact details and correspondence while needed for your enquiry, business relationship or ongoing assignment. We then delete them unless still needed to document agreements, handle a dispute or fulfil a legal obligation. Administrative records are retained for the applicable statutory period. Technical data and statistics are used while needed for security, troubleshooting and comparing website usage; data no longer needed for those purposes should be deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests and request data portability where applicable. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Send requests to f.kluitenberg [at] ftam [dot] nl. We may request information to verify your identity carefully. We normally respond within one month and will inform you if more time is needed. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you. We update this notice when the website or our services change.
